Where is Gitavillage California located?

The village is located in Località Le Casalette, 01014 Montalto Marina (VT), directly by the sea. A perfect location to enjoy your holiday without needing to use the car every day.

What are the opening dates for the 2026 season?

For the 2026 season, the village will be open from May 21 to September 21, 2026. A perfect period to enjoy the sea with your family, from spring through to the end of summer.

During which periods is entertainment available?

Entertainment will be available from June 6 to September 6, 2026, with activities dedicated to children and moments of fun for the whole family.

Is the village directly on the sea?

Yes, the beach can be reached via a flat internal path. In about 5 minutes on foot (maximum 250 meters), you reach the sea.

What kind of beach and sea are there?

The beach is wide and sandy, ideal for families. The seabed slopes gently and is also suitable for children.

Are pets allowed?

No, the village is not pet friendly. However, it is possible to bring canaries, rabbits or hamsters, but only if they are always kept in cages and inside the accommodation.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

• Village Area (cottages and lodges)
– Check-in: from 16:00 (possibility to access services from 14:00)
– Check-out: by 10:00
After these times, an extra day may be charged

• Camping Area (pitches)
– Check-in: from 08:30
– Check-out: by 12:00

Is a deposit required?

Yes, upon arrival a deposit of € 50.00 is required for accommodation guests. No deposit is required for pitches.

Can unaccompanied minors stay at Gitavillage California?

No. Minors cannot stay at Gitavillage California without a parent or legal guardian, even if they are part of groups that include adults.
Authorizations or written permissions are not accepted. For safety and responsibility reasons, all minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the entire duration of the stay.

Are there quiet hours?

Yes, to ensure everyone’s rest:

How do you reach the village?

It is easily accessible by car and well signposted. The navigator leads directly to the entrance.

Are taxis or shuttle services available?

Taxis or public transport are not always available in the area: it is recommended to arrange transfers in advance.

Is parking available?

Each accommodation has 1 parking space.
A second car can be parked in the unreserved internal parking area.

Is it possible to charge electric cars?

No, charging electric cars is not allowed within the property.

Is it possible to drive inside the village?

Traffic is regulated and allowed only at walking speed for loading/unloading operations. In some time slots it is prohibited.

Is it possible to move around by bike or with strollers?

La circolazione è regolamentata e consentita solo a passo d’uomo per operazioni di carico/scarico. In alcune fasce orarie è vietata.

Is the beach service included?

Beach service (1 umbrella and 2 sunbeds) is included in all masonry cottages. For lodge guests, it is possible to book it at the time of accommodation reservation.
The service is available until September 21 (09:00–19:00).

Are there services for people with mobility difficulties?

Yes, a job chair with accessible platform is available on the beach.

Is there a swimming pool?

Yes, the pool is open from May 23.

Yes, a wellness center with massages and relaxation path is available, upon reservation.

Vacation with daughters (13 and 11) and grandparents. It was for us an excellent experience. The beach is never crowded, the campsite is very large with a nice pool, which is a good alternative to the sea, especially in the afternoon when it is usually choppy. There is a minimarket that, if you want, lets you stay inside the campsite and never have to leave, and the evening entertainment in the amphitheatre is very pleasant. The water, as in the rest of Grosseto, isn't crystal clear, but you know!
